MerĂ„ker Mountain Challenge (MMC) introduces a new 100 km distance in 2023 and a 100 mile from 2024. The new distances are promoted on their new web pages at mmctrail.no.Â
The MMC has a lot to offer mountain runners. They have shorter 'Miniton' distances starting at 2 km, and all the way up to their mountain ultra race at 63 km - six distances in all. From 2023 they also introduce a 100 km race with start in MerĂ„ker and finish at Teveltunet. All races take place on the same date. This years date is 29th of July. Their website also say that a 100 mile distance will be introduced from 2024. As far as we know, that will be the first 100 mile ultra-trail race in Mid-Norway.   Â
